This came loose while at the range this weekend, was ~ half way out when I noticed it. Pushed it back in and it didn't happen again.

What is it and how concerned should I be that it came loose like this?

I don't know much about the Bodyguards but if it shares some design with the M&P, that pin might hold in the sear block at the rear of the frame.

If it happens again, you can call S&W.

Ok, that was my guess as well, but the owners manual is useless for identifying this so I'm trying to confirm.

    Holds the sear block in.

Not sure why it would come out...those are tension pins, and take a punch and hammer to knock out. Have you or someone else taken the firearm apart?

No, I've never taken that pin out and I'm the only owner. It's not in the regular cleaning so it's never been punched out at all.

Took it to the range this morning and after 50 rounds it's about 1/4 the way out again. Guess I'll need to call S&W?

Send it back to S&W. I've had mine for about 4 years and it hasn't ever worked loose. Something must not fit correctly if it's working it's way out.
