    Training Day
    Lord of War

Mine would be Lord of War. I know its not does not have a bunch of fight scenes in it but still a great movie.

I guess I'm not clear on what constitutes a "gun movie". I remember some pretty nifty training films on the M14 back in 1966. Would they count?

If you're talking about movies involving guns, my vote would go to either "Unforgiven" or "The Shootist".

The Good, the bad and the ugly

What is better than the scene where Tuco (the ugly) pieces together the 45 in the old general store - hilarious

Don't know if it's my favorite, but I caught the end of Enemy of the State the other day. It was nice to see something realistic in the midst of some of the shows you see these days - the dramatic racking the slide of the pistol or shotgun for effect, and always at the wrong time (they've been carrying it around for days with nothing in the chamber?).

Anyway, Jon Voight requests a 'piece' from his minions, and when they give it to him, he basically does a check of the chamber to verify a round is in there. No need to cycle the action!
