Working from my home office:
30 feet (coffee machine to desk) - a few seconds

47.9 miles from my driveway to where I work. Time depends on traffic and level of adherence to posted traffic regulations. I can make it in about 50 minutes if the traffic in town (Indy) isn't too bad. Crap. I just realized I drive 96 miles every weekday in a 2002 Silverado. The Saudis must love me.
