I spend most of my summer months playing in the dirt (vegetable garden and LOTS of flowers) and fishing. We cleaned 27 bluegill yesterday, and hubby just left to go with a friend today. I'll probably go with him on Monday if the weather forecast doesn't change.

Just added another to the work list......yard cleanup. We had nasty storms and winds yesterday evening. Had one tree split and fall onto the neighbors fence and a big branch fell on the hood of my truck. This puts off my wife and I going fishing today.

So sorry to hear about your truck!!!!!!! How badly is it damaged?

Ahhhhhhh. Bluegill and/or, crappie fish fry`s are the best! A boatload of fun gathering the fixings for dinner too!

We put as many as we can in the freezer to get us through the winter. It just doesn't get any better than panfish.

Not too bad. Just a couple of dents. We took 6 heaping truck loads of limbs to the dump today. My in laws were there to help. They loaded the trucks and I just kept cutting. Worked out really well. My wife's parents are divorced so I have two great sets of in laws.

The creek tamed himself over the long weekend. Was finally able to get down with the bush hog and reclaim my bottoms. Getting my food plot ready for a mid-June corn planting. Battling the creek is a task. Luckily this time I only had to clean out the crossing and remove one drift pile.

I enjoy hearing about what all the hunters and outdoors people here have going on. There`s a LOT going on around here.
