I'm curious and shopping for something a little better than what comes with most stands.

I've had one of the cheaper HSS before, but wondered what everyone else uses?

I have an Ameristep Vest. It does the trick, comes with a lineman's climbing strap, a suspension relief strap and is only $50.00.

I use Hunter Safety Systems Pro model. It is a little heavy, but I don't go without it. Also works great with a climbing belt for putting up treestands.

HSS Pro. sewing the harness into a vest is the best idea ever. Also use the safety rope with the sliding knot. awesome. I come from an industrial background where harnesses and tethers are common. The vest beats em all

Hss. Never leave home without it. Also make sure you use a lifeline of some sort. Most accidents happen climbing not while sitting.

    Side note.......

I was once seen wearing my harness in a ground blind.....duh

    +1

I wish it was lighter but it feels really safe with all the accessories.

If I can ask. How much did you pay at Wal Mart for the G15

    think they are $88

I really like it better than the HSS I had before.

I like the fact that the linemans belt doubles at the suspension relief strap and all of the other features.

The belt that wraps around the tree is a nice design.
