hmmm, My wife wanted a kirby, no way... so I bought her a dyson because it came in purple. Could have bought a gun for the cost, oh well, she got a new one in June anyhow.

I really need to meet some women like that. I mean really.

There's women that love to hunt, fish, tent camp, or just plain go for a long walk in the woods.

Sometimes girly girls like to go outside, but usually not for those reasons. What kind of woman do you really want? :dunno:

I asked for a new rifle! And got a stainless ruger 10/22! :) its funny how several years ago jewelry would have been at the top of my list and now guns are! :) seems all my spare spending money goes towards em!

Have her get a license even if she doesn't plan on carrying for situations that may arise like driving your car with a gun in the glove box, etc.

Use of a firearm in a defensive situation isn't about being mean - it's about being wise and resolute.

One that although treated like a queen doesn't start acting like one.
One who truly believes, like me, 'tis better to give than to receive.
One who has compassion and empathy and just a bit of grit as well.
One who doesn't care about keeping up with the Jones'.
One who isn't constantly trying to prove she is the smartest person in the room.
One who doesn't take advantage of the "what's mine is yours, what's yours is mine" philosophy.
One who understands that the only precious things are the people in your life.

Well a girl can dream big! My first gun was a Cetme made by Centry, then I bought an AR 10 made by DPMS and just recently traded it for a Vector now I would love to have a G3 I was thinking OD green stock, I love the thumb hole so I was thinking an AUG and last I would love to shoot a 50 cal.... oh my husband thought of a great idea and I love it so hear it is... an engagement gun instead of a ring... :)

That's a great gun! I am sure she will be happy with that!

    She didn't like it. :(

So she opened it of Christmas, looked over skeptically, then said, "what is it?"
    "It's a 10/22 conversion!"
"You bought it for yourself, didn't you?"
    "No, it's yours."
Ugh. She thought it was just another one of my WWII acquisitions.

The weather was warm today so we went to Roush to try it out. She fired ten rounds and warmed up to it. Then I showed her how to shoot with a Hasty sling and she was hooked!
    :rockwoot:

50 feet and was getting [STRIKE]5" [/STRIKE] 4" groups off hand. This is pretty good for her and best of all she thinks it's fun!

    Next time, I'll post pics!
