    On a real note. That is a pretty cool find. My grandfather was a WWII submariner and had some pretty neat relics stored. When he passed away we found some pretty neat stuff he had horded in his tenure. My ex-wives grandfather was a pharmacist in the navy and was a pearl harbor survivor that kept an album full of match books he collected from every ship that docked while he was in pearl harbor. It was very impressive i might add.

    Um 1945 and in a duffel bag....? sorry couldn't resist..:):
    It probably came in the grandfather's stuff after the macedonian uprising (or whatever that was called) in the early 20th century, so could have been involved in a very unusual conflict.
