Or even better......post this sticker on your car and then you don't have to worry about a thing...and you won't have to carry a gun at all.....problem solved.... gun free zone.gif

I carry IWB and I leave it in when I enter truck. It's completely comfortable. The holster has a lot to do with it so you may have to look into another one. If you keep it on you you know it's secure and you can get to it. If you place it someone where else and wreck , slam on breaks , etc it may shift or go flying (so you tucked it under seat). I feel most comfortable knowing if I am going to get hijacked I'm drawing from my normal carry position , it's a muscle memory thing. Key example:

My little Kings Holster that slides on any good belt is quite comfortable right at my side in my Jeep or My Buick. My problem is what the heck to do with it when using a public restroom! I know we can carry open...but that extra weight is a little bit hard to get in the right position while answering mother Natures call!

So I took a lot of your advice and pushed it back to 4. It is a lot better to drive with. I did feel like I was printing more though it could just be from me being so new to it all and just freaking out about something that people aren't even going to notice.

    HA!

I saw this video somewhere on using one of those trigger holsters with the cord lengthened and anchored somewhere under the dash, so drawing the gun past the cord length unholsters it. Seemed like a OK system but not sure I'd want the gun so loose and flopping around while driving. i.e. in case of a sudden brake or accident. Anybody ever use this type of setup and how did/does it work for you?
