I would turn in the serial numbers and a make model to the police. Provide contact info and sit on it tell someone valid claims it. Others wise its just gonna be a free gun to someone at the police post.

People dont just lose guns. Something fishy going on. Turn it in, tell them you want it if its not stolen. I`m sure they will give it to you.
