    Ruger MkII, 5.5" Bull barrel, Blued. No longer in my possesion, but have access. (Dad bought it from me to help out when I needed an immediate vehicle replacement). Bought for me by dad when I was in H.S. and transferred later to me.

    First one I bought on my own was actually an Essex 1911 Frame a slide (the frame needs an FFL so it counts!)

    First complete handgun was an old surplus CZ-52, traded it off before ever firing a shot from it...

    Got my eye on a Stoeger Cougar 9mm or .40 now...

    i believe this thread was done before....but i still have my first gun, my father gave it to me and it is a colt 1911 70 series nickel, just got it back from the gunsmith had it re-nickeled beautiful gun....safe queen for now...

    Smith & Wesson Model 411 .40 caliber. Carried it for about two years. It was a good gun to start off with. Long trigger pull, but a solid pistol. I still have it, but my main carry gun now is a Kimber Ultra Carry II with night sights (stainless) with Crimson Trace lasergreips.
