Age 12, High Standard Sentinel revolver. I put 10,000 rounds or better through that old revolver before I sold it for $75. It went everywhere I went on the farm. Shot rabbitts, squirrel, groundhog, fox, starlings, english sparrows, rats, mice and feral cats that got too close to the new chicks. It wasn't terribly accurate but it was a barrel of fun. Graduated to a 357 Blackhawk when I could hunt legally with it.
