Daisy Red Ryder...I was the mortal enemy of pop cans throughout rural Paris, Illinois.

Later in life, a Ruger 10/22 that now bears little resemblance to the rifle that came out of the box. (Curse you MidwayUSA.com and your 2 day to-your-door delivery...! ) :)

My first rifle was a Glenfield Marlin 25 in 22lr. I got it back in 1977 and still have it. It's still a great shooter, but I don't shoot it as much anymore. It seems that I've caught the Mosin disease. Back in '77, I loved to shoot that rifle. It introduced me to the intoxicating smell of Hoppe's #9. To this day, I cannot open a bottle of Hoppes 9 without thinking back on all the times my Dad and I took the old Marlin out to the range.

Ruger 10-22. Had to be around 1974 ish. It's still fun to shoot. Dad had a Weaver base and a 2.5-7 power wide angle scope put on it, otherwise it's original. But I always look at those folding stocks......

Of course it was the old trusty 10 22 in black. I quickly got the 25 round banana clip and went through thousands of rounds. I sold it to a buddy I work with so still get to use it when i want.

Mossberg ATR the first year they came out. Mine was in .30-06. It was definitely a shooter for what I paid for it, but I've got a little more expensive tastes nowadays. Kind of wish I still had it even though I hadn't shot it in over a year when I still had it, so I let it go in a trade.
