I like it. But i wear all mine the same. No special treatment.
I dont have safe queen guns either

I was just teasing. It's about time for me to start shopping for a new one and designate this one for rough duty.

Coldsteel223 rocks a smart watch that has me intrigued. I'm not sure which one it is, but it interacts with his phone enough to have some useful features.

I think I want the least expensive yet reasonably reliable, durable, and accurate fully mechanical watch I can get.

    What are my options?

Not that Trigger Time needs it .... but I'll vouch for the integrity of his word. He was at my house last week, helping me with some strenuous work with hand tools.
On his wrist was the 'pepsi cola' Rolex. :)

Fully mechanical as in no battery, wind up, or just an analog display? Sorry, I may be using less than correct terms for the watch nerds.

Seiko SKX if you're wanting to be around $200

A Seiko with a 4r36 movement and sapphire crystal if you want to be around $4-500

$500-800, you're looking at micro brands (Helson, Aevig, H2O, Raven, Nth, Halios, Magrette, etc...)

$800-1500, look at Sinn, Damasko, Stowa, or Oris

IMHO, those are the best bang for your buck options broken up into price brackets.

What a great thread....love seeing all the watches. Old, new, fancy, plain expensive, cheap....I love them all.

I always wanted a decent watch with a swiss movement. I spent a little time in switzerland in a small town for work. It was cool to see the influence that the watch industry had on that area. The Tag Heuer factory was across the street from the facility I was working at.

I picked up this watch from a kind of startup company. It has a swiss movement and so far has been solid.
