Compromise is both sides giving something. What is the other side giving? Nothing, so there is no "compromise."

No more anti-gun laws...in fact roll some back..

Almost every one of the previous posts has missed the point. A few see it but most folks don't want to or for some reason can't make the leap.
The fedgov doesn't (just) want control of your guns, they want control of you. Taking our guns is the only way they can do it.
The system the founding fathers set up for us has broken down folks. It no longer works the way it should.
Folks actually think that the 2nd amendment is the reason we are "allowed" to own guns. We own guns because its a right given to us by our being alive. By our creator. Its a right we have that was written down in the constitution so the fedgov would know they can't mess with it. The 2nd doesn't give us the right, it just lists it.
If we continue to allow them to whittle away at our rights they will eventually "compromise" all of them into the trash.

Why are so many people buying EBR's and piles of ammo, mags and reloading components? Why are prices through the roof on all that stuff?
A lotta folks aren't willing to allow TPTB to force them onto their knees. Folks are choosing sides....

Stand by the things you're sure of and don't waffle. Don't give them another inch!

And don't assume that everyone that posts on this site is a real gun owner. Some are not as they represent themselves.

Exactly, this is not about guns. It's about control.

I say we force them to "compromise" as we continue to chip away a little bit more of the power they wield until they wake up one morning and realize to their horror that they are living amidst a free country.

No compromise. Criminals will always find a means to an end. All we have is a threat of retribution. If anything, subsidize ammo so everyone can put a case on the shopping list, right above the subsidized milk! Just had to...

I thought I made a pretty good point. Read it again.

You could have said the same thing without name-calling, which would have been the more mature approach. When you include name-calling, you instantly lose credibility.

If we want a civil society, it needs to start with us.
