I used to be too conscientious, but now I've totally thrown in the towel and I can be relentlessly embarrassing to be around. My son won't even introduce me to any girlfriend he has. I probably won't get to know her name until after the wedding. That's ok, though, I couldn't remember it anyway. I just sent him an SMS saying there will be plenty of opportunity for dents on the car and don't catch any deadly diseases. Trying to be the good father, you know.
