One that I forgot to mention, and idk how lol, I got a like new hi point 995TS carbine with forward folding grip and two mags for $60 bucks and then traded it towards a brand new ruger 10/22 and only had to put $40 cash towards it! So in turn it was like buying a NIB 10/22 for $100

    In 1998, I bought a Russian SKS for $70, from a coworker.

A couple years later, I traded it for a used, but good condition, S&W model 66 .357. :D

I got a 20 gauge sears and roe buck bolt action for 20 bucks off of a co worker. Not the best shotgun but for it's age it still gets the job done

I've found 2 awesome deals. First was my mossberg 500. Guy I bought it from had cut the barrel down to 19.5" from 28" and replaced the cracked wooden stocks with black poly's. He was on probation and got freaked out so I bought it for $75.

Second was my Colt 1991A1 Compact. I traded my old Star .40 and $150 cash for the Colt in the box with the factory mags one of which had never been inserted into the gun. I paid $180 for the star. I am still tickled pink on that purchase.

I got an AR 15 (Panther DPMS Oracle Carbine) for $20.
Okay, so it was a raffle. I still only bought one ticket and won.

Actual in-store deal, would probably be a Marlin 336w 30-30, scoped and zeroed, for $275 out the door. Runner up would be a Maadi AK 47 for $400.
