Yeah, but it's your method of gathering the stool sample that really has people nervous.

Yet we (collectively) call gun grabbing politicians "hypocrites." I'm not saying the buyer doesn't have the right to ask for whatever they want. Heck, they can require that you drive a Chevy 4x4 to the transaction for all I care, but I think a better judge of character is skimming some of their INGO posts or talking to them. Yeah, they could fool you, but it's way easier for them to fake a LTCH. Oh well, JMO, but I want fewer restrictions, not more.
Fewer restrictions? I have nothing to hide. Background check me all you want I'm fine with that. I agree with only selling to people with LTCH as a personal transaction. It's smart and ethical. Sell a gun to a criminal who then turns around and kills a child, then look the parents in the eye when they ask you why you sold it to that guy and tell them it wasn't your fault. You were legal, true, but see if you sleep well at night. Morbid, yes. Reality? Absolutely.
