draco pistol firing under the baffles. Feels like you get punched in the chest every time it goes bang.

I have a pre-64 mod 100 win. in 308 cal and it by far is the loudest I own. I see some people saying the ar10 is real loud I want to buy one but hope it is not so loud. That it takes the fun out of shooting it.

Loudest, probably the .308 Enfield sporter. Most distracting, probably my .44 BP 1858 Remington replica in my avatar. Gotta love that much smoke and noise in a small package!

Also: woohoo! 50 posts! I can get back into the classifieds!

I guess it would have been my 4in .357's shooting 125 grain bullets with Dupont SR4756 powder. Other shooters on the range would leave when I shot that round.:D The rounds were not too hot but the powder was evidently too slow burning for the barrel length. The concussion if you were off to the side was pretty bad and so was the noise. My .22 hornet in the 10in barrel Contender was pretty loud too. It would ring my ears unless I wore a pair of earplugs and another set of headphone silencers.
