What's With the End of the Life time Handgun permit Rumor?

I too heard the rumor, as well as my entire family, everyone in my extended family rushed out and applied a couple weeks back

I always suggest that people get their lifetime LTCH, because in reality it could be removed. I doubt that anytime soon, but from a pure cost standpoint its kind of senseless to buy the temp. permit.

It didn't happen while I was there. I work the gun counter at Martinsville rural king full time, but I miss things sometimes. I have never told anyone the lifetime is going away. I always result it to tabloid conjecture, but still advise getting the lifetime.

There is truth to it. The lifetime "permit" goes away when you die.

It would take a bill in the state legislature to change the law. They can't just "do away with it" without actually changing the law. It has nothing to do with opinions.
