BTW, Some of you guys make me feel old. I grew up watching Mighty Mouse, He Man - Masters of the Universe, Transformers (the original cartoon), Heckle and Jeckle, Gi Joe, Loony Tunes, Popeye, Superfriends, Inspecter Gadget, and the list goes on and on

Yeah, but do you remember StarBlazers?

I have always been a cartoon junkie, and there have been so many over the years. I remember watching Starblazers. Also Robo-Tech, Thundarr the Barbarian, and a myriad of others.

I have always been a fan of anime as well. I have the Gungrave series, HellSing series, Gantz series and so on.

There have just been so many great cartoons out there it's hard to say I have a particular favorite. Who here remembers The Ant and the Aardvark episodes that played during the Pink Panther cartoons ?

My only wish is that they would all be available on dvd as they originally aired. I loved the Dragon Ball series of shows. But I checked out some of them on dvd and they have all new voice actors and dialogue, which really made me decide to not collect them. It's a shame they couldn't just leave well enough alone when they put those out.

Also who here is a fan of animated movies ? Anyone here ever seen the original version of Akira, or Light Years ? Or how about the original cartoon movies of the Lord of the Rings series ? All of these are great in my opinion. Of course you can't leave out Heavy Metal, and I know that most everyone here has seen that one at least once.

Tom and Jerry is my favorite cartoon. Ooooh "Modern" cartoons, most "modern" cartoons I've seen make me think the guys who made them were high on weed or crack.

The Original cartoon cartoon cartoon's were pretty good though, like courage the cowardly dog, Dexter's laboratory and some others I may have forgotten.

Also love roadrunner, bugs bunny, and other old ones.

Anime's fun to watch too, although it's not really considered cartoons.

MODERN cartoons. Anime is not cartoons no matter how much I like Avatar. The rest of the Anime... Meh, not so much.

Now, if they would make Final Fantasy into a cartoon...... :D

Do you remember as a kid setting in front of the TV on Saturday mornings and watching cartoons until like noon. Those were the days.

actually I watched cartoons (Bugs and Daffy, GI Joes, Ducktales, and Thundercats) until my breakfast was over and I woke up, then I went outside to battle the evil Decepticons that were overtaking my back yard from the cornfield that surrounded us...

I was an only child and had a VIVID imagination. :D

Cant say I ever watched Starblazers. Thundercats yes! There are so many I have forgot most of em. Thundercats was great, :): I liked snarf!
We were quite poor when I was little. We didnt even have a tv till I was like 8 (1986 DocGlock), and even then it was a 13 inch black and white. And we got the standard local channels and that was it. Back then I believe they even had cartoons on after school on the local channels instead of all this talk show garbage they have now. I remember watching Tom & Jerry and Inspecter Gadget after school.
