Just switched to .40 for carry. When I CC I fall back to a 9mm Shield. My HD gun is a Sig P229 with a .357 Sig barrel. Thinking of adding one to my EDC and carrying .357 Sig as well. Haven't decided yet.

I am surprised how big of a margin the 9mm is getting. I marked .45. I have been carrying a P220 lately and often carry a 1911Commander . Color me surprised.

The lack of 38 spl responses stikes me as interesting. Makes me wonder if those who responded “357 mag” are actually carrying that cartridge, or just 357 mag chambered firearms, but loaded with 38 spl ammunition. Hmm...
