Previously I was carrying .45, but when my dept switched to the .40, I got a .40 G27 that I started carrying. Occasionly I'll grab my .45 because I miss it

I carry a 357 mag sp101 ruger everyday loaded with 38 spl. The gun is great and no worries about jams for me

When I'm home in the U.S./Indiana my current EDC pistol is a second gen Sig P250 sub-compact in 9mm with Speer Gold Dot hollow points.

I went from .45 to .380, now 9mm.

I think many of the recent offerings in sub compact 9's is why the poll looks the way it does. If this question were asked a few years ago we would see totally different numbers.

I own lot's of weapons - and I carry each one. Also I firmly believe that it is about a balance of high caliber and high capacity. The bigger the caliber and higher the capacity the better.....that said the lowest I tote around is an LCP.
