    So much stuff. I'm all about preparedness, but some of these "kits" seem like a lot of stuff. I carry a Glock 33 and a S&W pocket knife. Simple and efficient for what I need.

    I guess it's all subjective. I tend to agree with you that the few things I posted above are all I've ever needed. There hasn't really been a time where I've wished I had more. On the other hand, I'm sure others in this thread have arrived at their decisions based on things they have encountered.

    Likely story on the hanky. Not sure what kid boogers are a signal for but I am pretty sure I don't want to find out.
    It looks something like this normally. This is from today when my 2 year old decided to trip on his feet and use his face and the ground to stop himself. Bloody lower lip & nose plus the booger purge induced from the crying.
