I love the way those S&W's look! It been a long time since I added a new wheel gun to the safe, and I'm starting to get the itch.

Today was my 21st birthday and I have had my eye on a Ruger GP100 for awhile. Have always wanted a .357 mag since I was a kid and I finally have one! Her name is Maggie and shes never going anywhere! Have to wait til Sunday to shoot her, but I've waited this long whats a couple more days....

    Enjoy, Jon

Nice gun. I've had a gp100 for a couple of years now. Mine has the 4 inch barrel though. The only complaint I have, and it's such a minor thing that it's really not a complaint, is the pin that holds in the rear site will slide out to the left after pushing about 20 or so rounds of 357 down range. It doesn't do it when I'm using 38's though. I've heard other people mention the same thing, so I guess it's just a gp100 thing. Great gun though. Congratulations!

Thanks! I've been having a lot of fun with her the last couple months. I have noticed the rear pin coming out, like you said it's only after .357's. Doesn't bother me too much if that's all I have to worry about then I'm cool with that! Next up is a nice leather gun belt and holster. More pictures with her cousin a S&W 686 coming later tonite.

Had some family come in town this holiday weekend and couple of us decided to go shooting. My cousin brought his S&W 686 so we had to get some pictures of it with my GP100. After shooting both I still prefer the Ruger, but that 686 has one sweet single action trigger!

    Enjoy! Jon

    640 No-Dash

Been looking for a nice 640 no-dash. Finally scored this on Gunbroker for $453. I'd call it "98% condition". BKV serial number (about '91)... they don't build them quite like this anymore.

Picked up a Century this year, don't see many made in Indiana guns. Been having fun shooting it, less fun carrying it around.:)

Outdoorsman.jpg Here is one of my favorites...... pre-war S&W K-22 Outdoorsman. Some of the smoothest shooting guns ever made. This one has only faint cylinder line though so it usually stays in the box. Ha ha
