Do you have any issues with cartridge set back locking up the cylinder? I know that was a problem with the older S&W Model 53's in .22 Jet. The bottleneck design allowed the case to set back against the breech face, tying up the gun. I have 2 BFR's and would like to get a third in .30-30 Winchester. But I've never seen any.

i had a Raging Hornet that would set back bad so i sold it and traded for the BFR......have ran over 200rd's of reloads and no set back....

Glad to hear you're having good luck with it. I really like the BFR revolvers. It's the nice attention to detail, like the Stainless Socket Head Cap screws they use to install the grip frame. Mine have beautiful finishes as well.

I have Ruger SP 101 with the 3 inch barrel. I prefer it because 3 inch snubby is not much harder to conceal and don’t have any problem during firing. It is hardcore and dangerous for a novice by suing Air-weight and FeatherWeight Magnum snubbies with hot magnum rounds.

I put some silver black diamond magnas on my old 10-5. I like the dark wood on the blued finish, and since this is my "truck gun" I wanted something that would not look as obvious when I open the console of my Jeep.

Also a snubby fan. I carry a S&W 386 most of the time and a 340 m&p or 640 bug. "The snub nose revolver" by Ed Lovett is a must read!!!
