This followed me home from the gun show a few weeks ago. I got it for a really good price, but once I got it, I couldn't justify keeping it and my 686. Sold the 686 this week.

It's a Smith 14-4 with 6" barrel and Sambar stag grips. It has Belgian proofmarks, so it was exported to Belgium probably as a service weapon. Don't know how it made it back here.

Thought I would share this here... Three of my favorite workhorses....

S&W 686 6 inch SS, S&W R8, and the Ruger GP100 Match Champion all in 357 mag...

I thought the S&W 6" 14-4 came with a full under lug barrel? Like the lower one in this photo:

It's stamped 14-4 inside. Maybe because it was a foreign issue it was manufactured to different specs? Or maybe they just made it both ways.
