Anywho, I listened to it - ohmygosh is it is dry and overly intellectual.

I haven’t read any of his books but I subscribe to his podcast. Listening to him speak, it seems obvious to me that he’s not working an angle and is genuinely interested in improving people’s lives.

I find his biblical lectures fascinating. He does seem to dodge the question of his own spirituality. But I appreciate that someone who approaches the Bible from a strictly psychological/ sociological perspective and still finding so much to respect about it.
Also the point about what you truly believe is what you act out is a lesson that any Christian can take to heart.
