Not to disagree with you, but I think most people in the US are more concerned with our economic and political situation than they are with the UN's strategy to take over the world. And based on the success of the UN at just about anything in which the US doesn't take a leading role (i.e. none to speak of), I think our national priorities are just about right at this time.

I don't think this should be the end all be all debate, but if you look at what goals were stated, it would seem that alot of the bad legislation being brought to bare heads towards their goals.

Have you ever read the UN charter and "Bill of Rights" or as I call the Bill of entitlements?

    It is down right scary.

I think we should just quit the UN.

I found it funny that their biggest hurdle, or headache, is the issue of sovereignty around the world.

"If we could only overcome people's wanting to maintain their own countries..."

But then we wouldn't be one, big, happy campfire singing world.

I agree, ditch the UN. Get 'em outta New York. Go to Syria, that'll work out just fine for them. Or Paris...even better. They can eat Croissants under the Eiffel tower and smell their dirty armpits!

The UN is to international relations what the UAW is the the automotive world.

(sorry UAW guys, you know it's true)

    Just my :twocents:
