WalMart, 86th & Michigan with my full size Sig P250. Nice, blu-callar gent with a Southern drawl engaged me; said he's from Alabama, in town for work (industrial warehouse cranes, I think). He's a Glock man, but doesn't carry because he can't keep track of the laws from state to state as he travels. I welcomed him to the open gun friendly Hoosier state.

I haven't crossed that line yet where i'm comfortable OCing. Been CCing for a little over a month, and only OC around the house and if i'm doing yard work. Guess I've still got a little of that "it's going to go bad" stigma.

You, are doing it RIGHT ..... YOU, and only YOU, can decide what you are comfortable with .....

I have been carrying for 38 or 39 years, and I don't even want to admit, how long it took me to oc .....

Now it doesn't matter ..... I just carry, everywhere .....

Lowe's on the South Side of The Bend last night buying a slider patio door. Uniformed LEO paused in the aisle and checked me over good. I was watching him peripherally and expected a contact but he just stood and looked for about 10 seconds and continued on his merry way. Perfect! Just as it should be...and how it usually goes.

Checking in and checking out of my hotel in Ohio. Also a couple gas stations around here.

Nice. When I travelled to MN a few years back when they still had reciprocity with UT, I still had to conceal when I went in and out of the hotel. They had a big NO GUNS sign on all of the doors. I found it amusing that I walked in and out several times with my range bag loaded with guns, but no one ever noticed. The bag has a big Glock logo stitched on the side... :):

One of these days we'll run into each other there.
