Last Sunday afternoon, at Cracker Barrell in Lafayette, In. Saw a gentleman in his early 70's, proudly carrying his "S/W 38 special" in a snap over leather holster.

Rural King in Monticello, Thursday morning, carrying a Glock in a Kydex OWB holster, tucked in black t-shirt, appeared to be buying ammo at the gun counter. Didn't appear to be any of LEOS from around here, unless he's new.

Today around 2pm-3pm Culvers in Greenwood on 135, I saw a younger guy late 20's early 30's , carrying either a Glock or S&W M&P or a Shield in a kydex holster cross draw, too far away to really tell the make.

As cold as it's been up here I'm lucky to see anyone carrying. Thick winter jackets kind of do that. Even my normally open carry has been hidden by warm winter jacket.

Saw a guy at Village Pantry with neck tattoos OC'ing a Keltec in an Uncle Mikes (or similar) floppy nylon holster. The "holster" was hanging from his hoodie pocket by the plastic belt clip.

I guess he's carrying, so that's a plus. But dude don't hurt anyone or make it unsafe.

Bad CC. This wasn't you, was it? I happen to think that a firearm should be holstered at all times. Doesn't matter if it is a belt, purse, or pocket carry. If he is going to be that open about it, he probably should practice gun safety and keep it properly holstered on his hip. At least do it to secure the firearm while carrying it.

I don't remember dates but I recall seeing three OCers, not including the numerous ones I see at work as I work at a gun store.

    All in NWI.
One at 41 & 231 in St.john. Guy on a motorcycle, officer sized 1911 in a leather holster.

Another at Stack & Van Til in Lowell. Compact Glock in a Serpa I believe.

Most recently at Red Robin in Merrillville. Government frame colt (I think) 1911 in a leather holster.
