Silly question, but I'm wanting to build enough *decent* bags for my immediate family and my wife's immediate family in case SHTF. I like the versatility and modification-friendliness of ALICE packs (as well as the price) but I was wondering where I should go if I wanted 30 or so of them? I was wanting to find a whole-saler or something but I'm not having much luck, just some government bidding sites. Is that the only way to buy bulk milsurp right from the source?

    Thanks for any help!

If you really want 30 or more you could look into the liquidation auctions and try to find the marine backpacks they are replacing. The MARPAT ILBE system.

There was a group buy a while back but you could probably contact SmileDocHill about what he did and the total costs.

Edit: also a lot of the alice packs I've seen recently aren't real surplus alice packs but cheap easy to tear chinese knock-offs. YMMV
