Ever since Ludco got shut down I haven't been able to buy powder for my reloading. Was wondering if anyone knew of any place close to Muncie that sells reloading equipment/supplies.

I know I can get it online, but I refuse to pay the $25.00 hazmat fee on top of shipping and I don't think what I have left is going to last until the next Indy 1500. :(

I get my powder at Atterbury shooting range. just 8# Varget 137.00 +. Their Power Pistol was around 16.00 a #.
It's not very close to Muncie but I think they also have a store near fishers.

They might be close enough to save postage.
    Hope this helps, Ed

Big R in Marion is starting to stock a decent selection of powder. Mostly hodgdon and IMR, I am not too sure about anything else, the carry just about everything I reload with. Last weekend I noticed that they are now stocking Federal primers as well.

Thanks everyone, I'll have to check out a few of these places to see what I can find. Since I am the only one of the people I shoot with to reload I don't have the luxury of splitting the cost between other people...

I appreciate all of the help. Looks like I might be alright after all!

I'm gonna have to check them out. They're a lot closer than Atterbury, and better than paying the hazmat if I just want a pound or so of a new powder to try. How's the selection there?

They have a good selection, they don't keep it out where you can look it over though. Either call them or go up to the counter and tell them what you want, they keep it in another room off the showroom there.

What I am doing is buying in bulk as well. Since 8lbs of Varget should be about 1,200 charges for my .308 load I would buy a box of 1,000 primers because its the same hazmat fee. The places locally here have a high markup on reloading supplies (especially powder) so I find it much cheaper to order it online this way.

Atterbury/Indiana Gun Club is th cheapest by far. Mailorder prices without shipping or hazmat fees. I'd buy from them all day long... and their mark-up is much less than others. Tons of CCI primers in stock too.
