That's awesome. I'm not likely to jump into a Saiga before Thanksgiving/Christmas but I'm bookmarking that site.

How many parts exactly do I need to convert to keep it 922r. Im not sure how many they come with stock and how many id need to install myself.

Spend some time on this site: forum.Saiga-12.com

It has some great information about conversion and there are a couple 922r threads, including at least one that has a 922r parts checklist for shotguns and rifles. Well worth your time.

You're in luck though, most aftermarket parts/mags are us made so it makes life easier.
