Does anyone in the Indy metro area have a good source for 30 gallon polyethylene water-safe drums that they would be willing to share? I want to get some water stored. I've found some industrial suppliers online, but no one that does singles retail.

But I'd settle for 5-gallon sealed pails that I can move about the house / property. 30-gallon of water begins to be resistant to quick moves. What is the consensus on how long tap-water remains tasty in a sealed drum? EBG

Over the years, I have gotten the 5 gallon ones from a company that gets bulk food additives that they use to make other food products. They have 100s of the 5 gallon ones .... although it is not easy to find the right person to talk with at the plant. If there are any companies that are making quantities of food products in your area, talk with them.
