Where to eat down town indy?

Rock Bottom downtown has good food and beer. Other good eateries are Jillians, PF CHangs, Mo's....MacNivens is a good Irish pub with good food too!

shula's steakhouse has my favorite steaks but it is a bit spendy 40-50 per person is what it always costs us

Great tips so far and a good reminder that you can have a great meal for the family without spending a ton per person.

Rock Bottom is one of my favorites (beer, pretzles, and an unbelievable carrot cake)
Bazbeaux's has terrific pizza and is fun
Weber Grill: I really liked it the one time I went (a big range from sandwiches to steaks)
Bucca de Beppo: Another family favorite if you are willing to share.

Whatever you choose, have a GREAT time

My vote is for PF Changs, Webber Grill, or if you want the best "bar" burger on the planet, go to Coaches Tavern down town. Ask for Tom, and tell him Jon at MDC in Columbus sent you.

Five Guys is my new favorite hamburger. Seriously, if you haven't had one yet, you need to.

Also on Bazbeaux's. I have lunch there from time to time. It's a little greasy, but it's pretty decent pizza.

5 Guys is over-priced Hardees with a ridiculous amount of fries.

Seriously, you need to go to St. Elmo. Fogo is good too. So is the Oceannaire. I personally don't care for the Weber Grill.

No offense Scutter but the first time I ate a 5 Guys was in an airport and asked for jelapeno peppers on it and they put on raw ones. I like them pickled thanks. I also tried the one up on 86th but don't remember it that well, telling for me. I am glad you like it but I will probably not be a frequent biter.
