    Hey guys,

I am looking to buy some more 90% silver US coins. I used to buy at Lost Dutchman but now they appear to only sell to standing order customers so I am out of luck there. Online prices have very high premiums. Any suggestions?

    I am on Indy Northside.

    Thanks!

If you're after the metal, sterling silver is 92.5% metal. I used to be able to buy them at estate sales for far less than the melt value.

If your'e after the coinage, I'd advertise being a collection buyer.

I wish I could help you with brick and mortar places but the only one I know in Indy is Lost Dutchman and he has HIGH premiums on a lot of stuff.

Thanks for the input guys... I too like Provident. They have good prices but for 90% the premiums are still too high in my opinion but that is a sign of the times on 90% I guess....

Too bad with Lost Dutchman because they used to offer 90% for .70 from spot. But now they won't even sell to us as they have standing orders with some people.... I don't know of anyone else local that has good prices...

Maybe just need to get generic bars/coins now days...

Silvertowne in Winchester has free shipping right now through the end of the weekend if you want to order off their website. I think their prices seemed ok but I'm not a stacker so I don't know for sure.

Go coin roll hunting. You don't have to pay any premiums.....

We have tried that. The 1st time was AWESOME - 40 Silver dollars out of a stack of about 700 from a local bank. Next time was 20ish Fifty-cent pieces out of $1000 worth. Next 2 attamps were ZERO each. Everyone is playing the game now and not finding anything anymore.
