MKIII 22/45. I have one and I love it. I cant bring bulk packs with me when I shoot or I cant stop and end up shooting the whole box.

My dad prefers the regular MKIII grip though.

Buckmark Camper here. It just feels right and its easier to clean. The Ruger guys will be in the majority, but thats only because there are more of them floating around. If you pay attention, there always seems to be some for sale too...I wonder why :starwars:

I grew up on Brownings, but have come to like Rugers products, as well.

My Buckmark has failed and failed big. Still can't diagnose the problem (but to be honest, I haven't tried after the first 3 attempts to diagnose). It's been replaced (ironically by a MKIII). Now it's just a matter of removing the carcass from the safe to make room for something that actually works.

That's my choice. Love my mkII bull barrel 5"

My 10" is my favorite pistol in my safe. I own a buckmark as well but the ruger will never leave my side. I grew up shooting my grandfather's ruger standard model and have been hooked ever since. It's actually in my safe as well and will never leave until I pass it on to my son.

I"ve got a Mark III 2245 with the checkered cocobolo grips. I added a fiber optic front sight to it and I don't know how you could beat it. Accurate, feels good, fires every time.

I am in the group who hates taking down the Rugers. I know it should be no big deal, but the one I had was so tight it was a bit>> to clean.

I didn't mind breaking down the Buckmark.

I sold the Ruger and the Buckmark.

Honestly, I like my no frills S&W 22a

I had a 22A as well. Great gun, and from what I've read, they do the barrels on it the same as the Model 41.

Seriously though, where's the bacon choice?

Buckmark. Hands down. Any day. Every day. All day. Period.

The URX feels good, but the standard camper does fine. Good enough from hitting 1.5x1.5 foot steel plates at 240 yards off hand, to hitting shotgun primers at 7 yards.

Exactly. I mostly think there's more Ruger people out there because 1) there's more of them floating around and 2) some just don't realize there's other (and better) options.
