My night stand sits in front of the bed by about 4 feet and my tv sits on top of it. Those were with in an arms length reach

Last night I was unexpectedly staying at the river house.......didn't have my EDC on me when I went over....so, it was a S&W Airweight Model 12 4" loaded with Critical Defense .38spl (not +P!!).

That is my River House gun for those very rare times I find myself there without an EDC. Oh, and it is 99.9% bluing with just the fainest of all rings on the cylinder....so I hope it never has to be used again! It is "semi-retired".

My EDC PT745 is always on the nightstand. As well as a Super Redhawk. Oh, and there's a Draco next to the nightstand. All are loaded.

Quantity of ammo fluctuates now and then, but the night stand guns live in the same exact spot with the same setup every single night so if I need to come out of a deep sleep to see why the door got knocked down the last thing I want to do is have to find or figure out the gun.
