He says he HATES body work. I'm not sure I believe him.

Insurance has been purchased for Cole's truck...need to go to the BMV and get a plate for it now. He is getting anxious....we drove it around "the block" the other day with both kids. No tickets were issued. Bug deflector was delivered yesterday. Center caps and beauty rings for the wheels today along with the radio. As soon as we turned into the driveway, he made Pa stop and let him drive. It still needs buffed out but letting the paint cure a bit first.

Cole's truck is done. He's moved on to redoing a 1985 C10 for Cole's little sister who turned 2 in March. He is working on putting the dash together now since we got the windshield in on Friday. No cussing and it only took us about an hour so we are getting better at this stuff.

This one is black. Bed is much better shape than Cole's was so it shouldn't take as long to get this one fixed up and back on the truck. This was not as extensive as a restoration as he initially wasn't going to "make it as pretty" as Cole's...was going to just replace the old farm truck. Once he got the dents out of the roof (big tree limb or small tree had fallen on it before he bought it) and got going, that changed of course.

This was what it looked like when it arrived...no engine or transmission in it.
