I had a voicemail this morning about 945 from Cabelas about how they wanted anyone that bought a SKS from them to bring it in for inspection. They said some of the rifles sold were de-milled and were a safety hazard. I called back right away and the Customer Service Rep said they had no info about this issue yet, he said they got bombarded with calls this morning regarding the issue and they were still waiting for info from corporate on what the issue was with the rifle. A co-worker found this on SKS boards about the issue...
I got a good one for you guys

I can say that i took my Yugo SKS apart and gave it a very fine cleaning and inspection the day i bought it. I would have noticed a hole drilled through the receiver. My sks was not de-milled, i double checked it again after work tonight and I had put about 200 rounds through it already with no problems.

Anyone one else get this call today? ANyone find that they have a de-milled sks?
