no but as i recently learned some (I say some not all) officers (and by officers I mean one on here) will arrest you for impersonating an officer just to inconvenience you. Full knowing the charge would never stick

I have a beanie that says national guard and I wear it. Doesn't mean Im in the national guard tho and I don't wear it to say that I am. I wear it cause it keeps my fat head warm. haha

Just because someone would wear a hat of such, doesn't mean they are attempting to impersonate that position or job...it may simply be that they support it no differently than some bozo wearing a Colt's hat supports the Colts.
Especially if what they are wearing is not GI uniform.
I wouldn't wear either...

sounds like a law suit in the making... that or they cant understand why there is cop bashing all over and get all butt hurt.

FYI, anyone can buy a "full police uniform" too... There is no 100% fool proof answer.
