Who likes hot salsa?

A little cilantro is ok, but too much will ruin anything. It's a very fine line for me.

Spicy is good, but not when it covers taste.

Unless you are doing a how hot can you go challenge then I take it down a notch.

Regular Tabasco is a good level of heat for regular eating without blowing out your taste buds.

I've backed it way down from when I was younger. I'm now firmly in the spicy as long as it doesn't cover all the other flavors camp.

This is the first year in the last 5 that I haven't put peppers out in the garden. I've still got a bunch of jalapeño relish, pickled hot peppers and various dried chilies in the pantry.

There's Indiana hot and there's East Coast hot. Indiana hot is the smallest amount of spice possible.

I don't like drinking hot sauce out of the bottle! I really do enjoy it in foods though, got home last night and had no power due to the storm. No power today yet either so no chips and salsa for me.
