    Wow, major kudos to them...perhaps they could assist with the US budget. I was surprised to see they sprung for Netflix though

    Having zero car payments is a nice relief.

    Boy, I can attest to this. In our younger days, we got new-car fever every couple of years or so. Our last car payment was in something like 2007 or 08. It's amazing how much discretionary income you have every month when you don't have to have a shiny new car.

    We used the cash that came in from our tax return and paid off the remaining $6000 on our GTO today. We bought it when the economy was a heck of a lot better, and the $400/month payment has been killing us.

    It's sure going to be nice to not have to pay it EVER again! No more car payments at all. Great feeling.
