Who wants to lose their gun rights?

I belonged to a rights organization in Indiana several years ago. I sat on the board of directors for two years. At the time there were approximately 30,000 members in Indiana. At any given time 1/2% of the members stood up for their rights. I can tell you it will take far more than 1/2% of gun owners to stand up for their rights based on recent events. If your on this forum you have the ability to email and write letters to your political leaders in office. Don"t take your rights for granted!

Maybe you've missed the decent number of members here that would be encourage "common sense gun control" because they don't see a legal purpose to own firearms like AR15s, AK47s, or the few that said pretty much said more than pump shotguns/bolt rifles/revolvers could be banned and they wouldn't care. This would include the evil semi auto .22 lrs. Some people simply own firearms because it is just a hobby and don't really care too much about the rights side of it.

The magenta in the post made me miss quite a bit as it was kind of blinding due to my sinus headache. It just seemed a little odd to post something intended to be sarcasm in a one liner when a decent number of people around here honestly don't care if it doesn't affect them.

Say what? I don't know much about England or the EU but the Australian Democrats or pretty much center politically and have very little power. They've not held a House of Representatives seat and rarely held more than 2 Senate seats in each state. The leading parties are the Liberal Party (urban-based) and the National Party (rural-based).

We won't lose our gun rights because some of want to own semi-autos, but rather because some of us don't own them, and are willing to throw the rest of us under the bus, so they can keep on playing with their leverguns or whatever politically-correct toys they enjoy.
