    Cru, I think you would have a very good chance of getting in office. You have no experience and no qualifications. Look at what that did for the person currently occupying the White House!!!! Just get a gang from Chicago and go for it!!!

    I would vote for an average Joe if he exhibited good common sense and could speak well enough to get his message across to others. I don't like professional lifelong politicians and it is obvious some are raised to be in politics.

    He WAS talking about building a clubhouse the other day. I think his ambitions are growing just a bit! :D

    As general rule, I would be very much in favor of having more "regular Joes" in office. It would take a lot of them though to bring about the kind of fundamental change we need. The career politicians are not going to easily give up their power and prestige. Not the kind of change that can happen in one election, but you have to start somewhere. :twocents:
