Especialy as to torso shots, there are plenty of places that one could be shot which may be incapacitation or fatal, but not immediately incapacitating or fatal, or not those at all. Head, less so.

Obligatory no one needs anything greater than .22 because "you don't live in Kandahar."

With a mouse caliber, I just aim for the ear canal.

Well, if there were a magic caliber in a perfect load we'd all be carrying it. You pays your money and takes your chances. No caliber or "best gun" discussion ever reaches a conclusion. If you like the .32 then have at it and carry on. I'm by no means a Glock enthusiast but I don't criticize those that carry them. The same goes for a .32. Just don't try to get me to join your cult.

Oh yeah???!!!! Well, how would you like to get poked with a sharp stick???

    Not many takers, are there??

Ergo, a sharp stick is an effective carry weapon (per the age-old argument for small caliber carry guns).
Well, you just go ahead and carry you sharp stick. I'll carry my gun. Sharp stick is like a knife, you have to get way to close.

I carried a nine shot, .32 acp Walther PP most of my adult life. I never felt under gunned. I am a civilian. My specific need in a firearm is conceal-ability, safety and defense. I agree that if your need is offense, a .32 is a bad choice(...although that round served European police agencies for a dozen lustrum).

I don't carry a .32 any more; but, IMHO a .32 Walther PP or PPK is a far superior weapon to the likes of any of those little Tupperware 9mms people are so fond of.

James Bond would have laughed at a Ruger LCP!

6" barrel Bernardelli was a fine piece for field carry.
Ducks, rabbits, parking lot lights, uh never mind.
