They shoot great, but are you willing to throw it on the deck when doing a weapons change? If not, it;s a safe queen.

I've got a Springer Loaded that is my EDC. I think its the best value in a mid level production 1911 on the market.

And yes if need be I would drop it in the dirt in a heart beat to transition to a rifle or shotgun.
