I'm thinking about getting a Wicked Edge sharpener. How do they work on tanto-style blades? I don't have very many tanto blades, but I want to be able to get a good edge on them.

I have a WE setup and its fantastic. I now have scary sharp knives (V and chisel edges) all the time. The owner and inventor has several youtube vids showing how to sharpen many popular knives, including a Tanto, even a Razel which has multiple grinds/edges. A weakness of the WE and other guided systems is the inability to sharpen recurve style blades and convex edges. Convex edges are possible but most, including myself, feel it just isn't worth the hassle when stropping works so much better. They have a couple of curved surface hones for recurves, but they are only in a couple of grits.
