to start i would go with a cheap recurve bow or you can get a compound for a decent price, i would recommend and ams retriever but i do have a zebco 808 spincast i would be willing to seperate from for a decent price. ive only used it twice. it me up ill take you out there and help you out some.

Went out to Wilbur Wright yesterday to check things out. Going to get my bow setup this week in hopes of being able to start sticking some carp. I know this thread is old but are you still bowfishing out there?
