I tried this with a Hi Point 9mm and let me tell you, it was like shooting a 10mm AND dividing by zero at the same time. I'll never be allowed at that range again as it completely demolished the backstop at the 200 yard lane. I believe it was fast enough and had enough power that it would have taken Rosie O'Donnell down even with a poor hit.

That should read, "Noe drawbacks ...", prob.

... a problem with the translator in Calcutta, I s'pose.
"One drawbacks of rifling gun barrels is that they allow a small amount of the expanding gases to exit the gun in all directions before the bullet itself does—decreasing its velocity and increasing recoil. <snip>A projectile with "Rocket" Vents[/url]

I read the article...twice. I'm still confused on how this works or the concept that would explain how it might work.

I would liken this to putting a huge wing and performance tires on a 4 cylinder Honda Civic. Hey wait... what about bullets with a spoiler on them?? Anyone have the address to the U.S. Patent Office handy? ;):):

This will be very handy. I get so bored waiting for my bullet to hit the target after I pull the trigger. This would be great!

Honestly, wouldn't it take about 5 mins to cast a bullet like that? Why the drama? Methinks it is for publicity.
